Hi, I’m Sheree!
Thank you so much for visiting the Brain eBox website. I wanted to share a personal introduction so that you could learn more about me.
Why did I start Brain eBox?
I created Brain eBox in 2015, after realising that the majority of online learning companies in South Africa, at that time, focused on either digital content development, or eLearning software implementation or online course delivery.
There was no one provider that could partner with a company to support them through each and every phase of the process of taking their training online.
I was 27 years old when I made this discovery, and I took the leap to create a company that could fill this gap.
How has it been going?
It’s been an amazing journey so far. Since we opened our doors, we have created a wide range of content for our corporate clients. We have designed traditional and digital in-house programmes, accreditation-ready qualifications and helped clients to digitalise their existing training materials.
We have welcomed thousands of individuals onto our online classroom to complete courses that we have created for their companies, and we have been successful in maintaining an annual average completion rate of 80% across all of online classrooms.
Over one hundred people have exited our accredited programmes successfully, having achieved credits towards the full qualification, or the full qualification itself.
Our team has grown from just me and Nicole in 2015, to a team of seven (7) full time staff members, and an extended team of contractors and partners. Our client list continues to grow as does the scope of the projects which we take on. It has really been an incredible adventure!
Why do we do what we do?
I have always believed in the power of skills development to change lives, and I have the pleasure of seeing it happen every day. As I have been building this business, my love for this work has continued to grow.
Through reflection I have realised that although digital learning has been a primary focus area for us, what we do is about so much more than that. And with that realisation we have uncovered our WHY.
At Brain eBox, we believe that the quality of workplace learning matters.
For the majority of South Africans, the first place they learn after school is at work. With this in mind, we believe that it is the responsibility of business, HR and L&D teams to ensure that employees are provided with credible learning solutions that not only help the business achieve its goals, but also helps the individual grow in their confidence and skills so that they can continue to develop their careers and provide for their families.
Brain eBox is committed to helping its clients to create and deliver powerful workplace learning solutions.
What’s next?
I want to continue placing our clients and learners at the heart of what we do, so that they can continue to enjoy partnering with us.
My focus is also on business growth and building the Brain eBox company brand. My team and I will be launching our new podcast, a webinar series for the HR community as well as our Alumni Network for our Accredited Programme graduates.
